About the event

Christopher A. Ferrara is a pro-life activist, civil rights attorney (Special Counsel to the Thomas More Society) with numerous published judicial decisions in cases he has handled in defense of life in the womb and First Amendment freedoms.

Mr. Ferrara (Fordham College ’73, Fordham Law, ’77) is the author of six books and thousands of articles and essays on subjects ranging from the current crisis in the Catholic Church to political philosophy to quantum mechanics. His book Liberty, the God that Failed has been hailed as “an intellectual landmark in Catholic ecclesiastical history (Graham Ward, Regius Professor of Divinity, University of Oxford) and “a tour de force--a marvelous achievement!” (Patrick McKinley Brennan, John F. Scarpa Chair in Catholic Legal Studies, Villanova University).  His study of the current crisis in the Catholic Church, The Great Façade (co-authored with Tom Woods) has been praised as “a spirited brief against the fantasies of recent decades, and an appeal to Catholics and the Church to return to what they have been, in order to become what they most truly are.” (James Kalb, author of Against Inclusiveness).

Mr. Ferrara resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife and five of their six children.
